Welcome back to SJ Weekender. Hope you’re staying cool in the heat wave (things can hopefully start feeling like fall soon 🥲). As requested by popular vote, we’re continuing to have more event recs this week—lots of fall-themed fun for you!
Without further ado, here’s your roundup of the best things to do around San Jose this weekend—don’t miss the Little Italy Italian Festival, the Fall Festival, and the Spina Farms Pumpkin Patch.

When: Sun. (10/6), 11AM-7PM
Where: Little Italy (North Almaden Boulevard, San Jose, CA 95110)
Price: Free admission
Description: Get the best of Italy in a day from our local Italian community. There’ll be one of the largest Italian car shows in the country, bites from all the best Italian restaurants around the bay, and nonstop live entertainment to keep things fun.
When: Sun. (10/6), 10AM-6PM
Where: History Park (635 Phelan Avenue, San Jose, CA 95112)
Price: Free admission
Description: Come for a culture-packed day with live music and dance performances, healing workshops, activities, and more. Enjoy the colorful swirls of folklorico dance, learn how to ground yourself with meditative breathwork, or contribute to a community mural.
When: Sat. (10/5), 9AM-2PM
Where: Martial Cottle Park (5283 Snell Ave, San Jose, CA 95136)
Description: Jump into your fall spirit with this cute fall-themed market. There will be over 55 vendors selling fall-themed goods, a pumpkin patch, a pop-up petting zoo, and more! Dog friendly.
When: Fri. (10/4) 3-9PM, Sat. (10/5) 10AM-9PM, Sun. (10/6) 10AM-5PM
Where: Santana Row, near Left Bank Brasserie (377 Santana Row Suite 1100, San Jose, 95128)
Description: Missed last week’s Great Glass Pumpkin Patch? Here’s another chance to find your perfect glass pumpkin for the fall season. There’ll be thousands of hand-blown glass pumpkins made by local Bay Area Glass Institute artists and artisans from around the country.
When: Fri. (10/4-10/5), 5-10PM
Where: SoFA District (South 1st Street, San Jose, CA 95113)
Price: Free admission
Description: Grab your favorite artsy people and decompress with some cool art after work. Stroll around the exhibitions and check out the last Street Mrkt indie urban art fair of the season on South 1st Street, where there will be over 50 artists selling one-of-a-kind creations.

Where: 225 Laguna Ave, Morgan Hill, CA 95037
Price: Free admission (parking is free Mon. to Thurs, $10 cash Friday, and $20 cash on the weekends)
Description: If you’re up for a bit of a road trip (roughly an hour and a half’s drive), you’ll find one of the coolest pumpkin patches around the bay. Pick your perfect pumpkin, try your hand at a corn maze ($8), go on a cow ride ($8)—plus, they even have giant dinosaurs you can check out! Make sure to bring cash, and check out their calendar for special deal days.
