Welcome back to SJ Weekender. Fatherās Day and Juneteenth are just around the corner, and I got some ideas for you to celebrate (or just have a fun lil adventure āØ).

Where: Plaza de Cesar Chavez (1 Paseo de San Antonio, San Jose CA 95113)
Price: $30 admission ($40 for 2 tickets when you buy in advance)
Description: Enjoy world-class blues, gospel, soul, R&B, and rock performances from artists like Terrie Odabi, John Nemeth, Delgado Brothers, and more. Grab a drink at the craft beer garden and try Southern-style BBQ as you browse artisan booths. Plus, check out the afterparty to celebrate John Nemethās last performance.

Description: Celebrate Juneteenth in downtown SJ with performances by headliner Marsha Ambosius and Alabama State University and Floria A&M marching bands. Thereāll also be food and maker vendors to check out.

Description: One of the best soul food places in SJ. Plus, itās a woman-led, family operated, and black owned business! Try their fried fish ($20), fried chicken ($20), and candied yams ($6).*

Description: An atmospheric store next to the San Jose Airport that offers both gourmet grocery items and delicious meals.
