Description: Thereās nothing like summer without a good olā fashioned carnival. Bring your family and friends (or just yourself!) and enjoy fun carnival rides, live entertainment, and a livestock show. Whether you want to watch a BMX stunt show, childrenās magic acts, or go on a pony ride, thereās a little something for everyone.
When: Fri. & Sat. (7/26-7/27), 4-10PM
Where: Grand Century Mall (1111 Story Road, San Jose CA 95122)
Price: Free admission
Description: End the work week with delicious eats and tons of fun at this night market. There will be food vendors offering everything from pastries to Vietnamese dishes. Plus, check out plants, jewelry, cute stationary, and more from local makers. The grand opening ceremony will start at 5:45 PM with a special performance from Vovinam America.
When: Sat. (7/27), 1-6PM

Description: The first Sidewalk Shops event of the year. Support your local small businesses and swing by both event locationsāthereāll be cute accessories, stickers, pottery, and more! Jacquelin de Leon will also be hosting a free watercoloring workshop at the MOMENT Paseo location. Dog friendly.

Where: 9000 Portola State Park Rd, La Honda, CA 94020
Price: $10 vehicle day-use fee
Description: If youāre up for a day trip, come visit this lush shaded redwood forest just an hourās drive from San Jose. Thereās 18 miles of trails over creeks, waterfalls, and beautiful greenery for you to hike. Take a guided hike to the new pedestrian bridge this Saturday. Experienced hikers can go on an 11.5-mile hike to Peterās Creek, the third-largest grove of old-growth redwoods in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Description: Touted as one of the best ice cream places in los Angeles, Wanderlust Creamery will be having a rare Bay Area appearance in Palo Alto this weekend. Pop by for a scoop of their unique ice cream and see if it lives up to the hype.
