When: Sat. (8/3), 12-6PM
Where: Alameda County Fairgrounds (2005 Valley Ave Gate 8, Pleasanton, CA 94566)
Price: $5.60 admission (tickets available online only); $15 onsite parking
Description: Find your new favorite vintage piece at this thrifting event. There’ll be over 100 vintage and secondhand sellers offering everything from clothes to home goods. Plus, there’ll be food, drinks, and music when you want a break from shopping.
When: Fri. (8/2), 5-10PM
Where: SoFA District (Various points along S. 1st Street, San Jose, CA 95113)
Price: Free admission
Description: Step into a vibrant world of art at the SoFA District this Friday evening, where galleries and art venues will be featuring unique exhibitions and live performances (for free!). Afterwards, check out paintings, bone jewelry, glass art demos, and more at the art fair on 1st Street.
When: Fri. (8/2), 5-9PM
Where: Garden at the Flea (1590 Berryessa Rd., San Jose, CA 95133)
Price: Free admission with $5 parking
Description: Grab your favorite person and learn some salsa moves together at this Berryessa event. There’ll be free dance lessons, live salsa music, food trucks, and vendors.

Where: 80 South Market Street, San Jose, CA 95113
Price: Free admission
Description: Regardless of your religion, you can admire this California Historical Landmark in the heart of downtown San Jose. With majestic towering domes, beautifully painted ceilings, and exquisite stained glass windows, this basilica is worth a visit. They also give tours Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 1-3 PM.
🍽️1 Restaurant to Try
Where: 1875 S Bascom Ave Ste 190, Campbell, CA 95008
Description: A Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant offering unique tapas, drinks, and desserts. Their menu rotates every few months, so there’s always something new! Bring some friends and try their “biscuits, bacon & butter” ($13), hamachi crudo ($19), and corn marrow pasta ($25).*
